Teresa Russell, Au.D., CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Teresa grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and she attended the University of Tennessee for both college and graduate school.
As a doctor of audiology at Physicians Hearing Care, Teresa assists the amazing patients at PHC with hearing aid repairs and regular check-ups, and she also monitors their hearing loss through comprehensive testing. Additionally, she assists people with a hearing loss in choosing the best amplification option for them. Teresa’s average day contains lots of problem solving, troubleshooting, and assisting people with their various devices.
Teresa loves the incredible staff and patients and finds joy in doing what she loves.
A proud moment for Teresa was when one of her patients was told that he would not hear in one of his ears with a hearing aid, due to severe hearing loss. She was able to change this when he came into the clinic to try some technology. He was able to hear with background noise and Teresa was able to help in improving his quality of life and his hearing, something he was told he could never accomplish. Teresa takes pride in being able to find life-changing solutions to hearing loss for her patients.
Outside of work, Teresa loves reading a good book or being outside in nature. She also loves to cook, play sports, draw, paint, and spend time with her husband, David.
