At Physicians Hearing Care (PHC), our number one priority is to ensure the health and wellbeing of our patients.
Our Tennessee community must continue to follow our easy 7 stage guide to protect yourself and the most vulnerable people in the local area.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 and the spread of the new Omicron variant, we at Physicians Hearing Care have implemented a 7 stage procedure to reassure all visitors and ensure that our patients and local population continue to live full, healthy, happy lives.
To stay up to date with the latest CDC government guidelines in your county, please use the CDC tool below.
Physicians Hearing Care, Our 7 Stage – Step by Step Guide.
#1 – Hand Wash On Arrival
We’re positive that by now, everyone is carrying an army platoon supply worth of sanitizer; however, every one upon arrival at our office must approach our check-in desk and use the hand sanitizer provided. A quick squirt in the hands and a thorough rub in, and that’s it, your hands are sanitized.
#2 – Patient Health Check Before Arrival
All guests and patients are being asked to review our “safety criteria” before visiting the PHC. We simply must insist that you don’t attend our offices if you are suffering from any of the following, a fever running at 100.4 or above, a cough, runny nose, or shortness of breath.
If, for instance, you find yourself suffering from any one of these ailments, we kindly insist you reschedule your appointment; contact us here. And someone will be available to take your call from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
Our strict guidelines insist that you reschedule your appointment for when you’ve been symptom-free (without the need for cough or fever medication) for at least 24 hours.
#3 – Thorough Cleaning Between Appointments
To reassure all visitors and patients, we have increased the time between each appointment, giving us additional time to sanitize all surfaces thoroughly. This ensures that all patients are stepping into a sterile and safe environment.
Everything will be thoroughly sterilized before each appointment from the patient’s chair, headphones, all equipment, tympanometer, pens, and audiometers.
At Physicians Hearing Care, your health and wellbeing will always be our number one priority.
#4 – Minimized Waiting Times
Unfortunately, we’ve had to remove all magazines from waiting rooms for sterile reasons; however, procedures are now in place to increase efficiency and decrease patient waiting times due to reduced paperwork and staggered appointments.
#5 – Your Hearing Hotline
If you need help, face any challenges, or require professional assistance during these challenging times, please call before visiting, as it’s likely that a walk-in appointment might be turned away, in accordance with our step-by-step guide.
However, our Hearing Hotline is available from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and we are more than happy to take your call and help in every way we can.
#6 – Virtual Appointments
We are also pleased to offer virtual appointments, perfect for patients being encouraged to remain indoors and with young families or professionals with long working hours.
Using easily accessible technology (smartphone, tablet, home computer, etc.), we can replicate meetings with your doctor while minimizing the danger to at-risk patients. We will also try our best to accommodate appointments around your busy schedule.
#7 – Express Patient Care
For patients who simply need a quick pit stop or tune-up, PHC offers our Express Patient Care service, 1 pm – 3 pm, Monday to Thursday; we are offering this service for patients needing immediate attention, whether, in need of repairs, adjustments, or cleaning, there are ten slots available.
Please remain in your car and call our office on arrival, informing us of your arrival, and we’ll guide you from there.
Thank You
