The COVID-19 pandemic has posed challenges for all of us –requiring new ways of living and working that were scarcely imaginable just months earlier.

Amid this upheaval, there have been incredible stories of individual triumph. We’ve watched in awe as people across Tennessee have found solutions to issues that have emerged every day.

This has been a continuous source of inspiration to our staff and work. Virtual Appointments, our brand-new service, is just one of the ways we’re ensuring patients can access life-changing hearing care now and in the future.

How do Virtual Appointments work?

Virtual Appointments replicate the meetings between doctors of audiology and patients held at PHC’s five Tennessee locations. But instead of needing to travel to make these, they take place at home, via your tablet, smartphone, or computer.

This is an important development for those who cannot leave their residence due to personal health reasons. But it’s also a service that’s exceptionally useful for those with busy, young families or long working hours.

Virtual Appointments make it easy to arrange your life around meetings with a specialist. This means you never have to put your hearing health to one side in order to deal with other everyday tasks and issues.

Who can benefit from Virtual Appointments?

Virtual Appointments are available to everyone, whether you’re a long-term patient or someone who has a suspected hearing loss.

We are offering complimentary, no-obligation 15-minutes consultations for those who have never visited our offices. This is a fantastic way to find out how to address a possible hearing healthcare issue.

Patients who we are already helping with their hearing care needs can also set up meetings with their doctor of audiology through this service.

In addition, those with state-of-the-art hearing aids can take advantage of “remote assist” technology. This allows a specialist hearing care provider to adjust and program their device via an internet connection.

How can I find out more?
