Audiologist
Janis grew up in Northeast Ohio and attended the University of Akron, OH.
As an audiologist, she conducts audiograms, hearing aid demos, hearing aid fittings, and cleans/repairs patients’ hearing aids. Janis loves being a part of the PHC team so that she can help people hear again.
A personal high point for Janis was many years ago. She had a gentleman come into the clinic with his wife. He had bought her some expensive hearing aids and exhausted their savings. He wanted her to have the best, but unfortunately, the hearing aids did not help and she was still struggling to hear. The couple came to PHC hoping to receive some help. Janis was able to fit her with a pair of hearing aids for a fraction of the cost and she could hear great. They were both ecstatic and Janis was able to help a patient to hear in a way that she hadn’t been able to previously.
When she is not at work, Janis enjoys spending time with her husband John, family, and friends. She also adores her border collie/beagle mix dog.
